How the partnership works

Two sides of the same problem, solved together

Most services work with jobseekers or with employers. Opportunity Wyndham works both sides at once, which is why placements stick.

For community

Build skills, confidence and connections

Free, personalised support from eight trusted local providers: resumes and interviews, English for the workplace, training and qualifications, driving lessons, mentoring, and one-on-one case management.

  1. 01

    Tell us where you’re at

Answer three questions and we’ll shortlist the partners you’re eligible for.

They contact you directly. No cost, no obligation, no Centrelink requirement.

  3. 03

For employers

Success story

Three participants, one certificate, two leadership roles

All Green Nursery and Garden Supplies is a long-standing family business with deep roots in Wyndham. Finding team members who share their values of sustainability, growth and community matters to them.

Working with The Gordon Skills and Jobs Centre and Wyndham City Council, All Green welcomed three participants for a six-month employment journey and the chance to earn a Certificate in Horticulture.

That training initiative turned into long-term employment. One participant is now a supervisor; another has taken on a leadership role.
